London Fire Brigade remains on site at our Wembley transfer station and continues to deal with the incident. We do not currently have access to the site and expect this to remain the case for the foreseeable future.

We can confirm that all LondonEnergy employees are safe and there have been no injuries.

Our contingency plans are in place, with waste that would normally be handled at Wembley being redirected through other parts of the LondonEnergy network. This will help us to maintain services while the site remains inaccessible.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported us during the incident, particularly London Fire Brigade and its crews for their ongoing response, as well as our own teams for their professionalism and support throughout.

We will provide further updates as the situation develops and as we are able to begin assessing the condition of the facility.
