The ReUse Shop at LondonEnergy’s Kings Road Reuse and Recycling Centre has launched its Christmas display, welcoming dozens of visitors for a special tree lighting ceremony earlier this week.

Shoppers enjoyed browsing festive items and pre-loved goods, with perfectly timed snowfall adding to the seasonal atmosphere. The display highlights the shop’s mission to give household items a second life during the busiest shopping season of the year.

This Christmas celebration comes during a milestone year for the ReUse Shop, which marked its 10th anniversary in 2025. To better serve the community, the shop also expanded its opening hours to six days a week.

The festive period offers an ideal opportunity for North London residents to embrace reuse and waste minimisation. The ReUse Shop accepts donations of quality household items and sells them at affordable prices, helping divert usable goods from landfill while providing budget-friendly options for local families.

Available items range from furniture and homeware to electronics and seasonal decorations, all contributing to a more circular economy, where products are given extended life instead of being discarded.

The shop is open throughout the week at the Kings Road Reuse and Recycling Centre, click here to visit the ReUse Shop page.
