We are proud to announce that our Waste Operations Manager, Katie Blowes, has been shortlisted for the Frontline Excellence Award (Utility Partner) at the 2026 Women in Utilities Awards.

The Women in Utilities Awards celebrate the achievements of women across the utilities sector, alongside the organisations and individuals who champion inclusion, innovation, and excellence within the industry.

As Waste Operations Manager at LondonEnergy, Katie is transforming frontline waste operations across North London through innovation, inclusivity, and environmental leadership. Responsible for seven reuse and recycling centres, she has helped drive recycling rates above 75%, introduced pioneering low-emission transport solutions, and led initiatives that continue to improve safety, culture, and operational excellence across sites.

This shortlist recognition reflects Katie’s professionalism and commitment to delivering high standards across frontline services. Her contribution continues to make a positive impact across our operations and wider community.
