LondonEnergy and the North London Waste Authority (NLWA) have been honoured with the Organisation Transformation Award at the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) UK Chapter Awards 2025.
The award recognises the partnership’s groundbreaking transformation programme, “One team, One asset base, One way-of-working”, which has fundamentally reshaped the management, maintenance and valuation of North London’s critical waste and energy infrastructure.
A Three-Year Journey
Over the past three years, LondonEnergy and NLWA have worked collaboratively to implement asset management best practice across the Edmonton EcoPark. The programme has seen a complete transition from paper-based processes to a fully integrated, data-driven system that prioritises safety, sustainability and value for money.
The transformation has delivered significant improvements in operational efficiency whilst strengthening the partnership’s ability to serve the communities of North London with reliable, sustainable waste management and energy recovery services.
Recognition of Excellence
“This achievement reflects the dedication and commitment of our teams and our shared vision for a cleaner, greener North London,” said Siobhan Henn, Head of Asset Management at LondonEnergy.
LondonEnergy and NLWA extend their thanks to the Institute of Asset Management for this recognition and congratulate all finalists who are advancing excellence in asset management across the industry.
