International Women’s Day is an annual event held on March 8th to celebrate the accomplishments of women around the world and to raise awareness of current issues affecting them.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is #EmbraceEquity. The theme draws attention to the systemic and structural societal obstacles that hinder women’s lives and how we can work to change this.
