LondonEnergy were pleased to be awarded a ‘Highly Commended’ status at the National Recycling Awards last week ( 28th June 2018). It came after being shortlisted in the Health & Safety initiative category. The recognition is for the first year of our three year START Safely Campaign that included bespoke interactive workshops, with each month, focused on a health and safety topics delivered to our 300 employees.
To support International Women in Engineering Day (23 June). We arranged for Leyton Sixth Form engineering students to meet our engineering graduate, Tola Orekoya. The students got the opportunity to find about Tola’s role, why she chose a career path in engineering and what she loves about her job. The students also had the chance to tour our fantastic facilities.
